Today at Twelfth Avenue Cuisine we prepare drop meatballs in a simple tomato sauce. This delicious meatball recipe can be an appetizer or main course. The drop meatballs are not cooked before being placed in the sauce so they remain tender. This also shortens the preparation time. This easy recipe is not only delicious but can be made ahead of time and reheated prior to serving.
We used our Ooni Koda 16 to reheat the drop meatballs and added mozzarella and parmesan cheese to melt. We toasted sliced baguettes brushed with olive oil to serve with the drop meatballs.
