Pomodoro is an Italian eatery that serves affordable flavorful pizzas and pastas in Kapitolyo. A village in Pasig City, Kapitolyo is known for its trendy dining scene where Pomodoro has been standing strong since 2014. I sat down with part owner, Mandee de Guzman, and chatted about Pomodoro’s interesting beginnings. But, of course, I had to try their food like best sellers Pepperoni Pizza and Pasta Bolognese! Also, a good friend’s favorite, their Chicken Pesto Pasta. A must-try was their take on the chicken wings made with Sriracha and calamansi, a local citrus. And last but not least, my favorites, the Truffle Pizza and Pasta! Those were oh so good! So head on to Kapitolyo where the streets are lined with chic bistros, barbecue spots, independent restaurants and give Pomodoro Pizza Pasta Kitchen a try!
