After a tiring day in Milan, we hopped on a train to Varenna, Lake Como and then a ferry to the beautiful town of Bellagio.
Our room was spectacular, we had a balcony overlooking the lake as we were surrounded by mountains.
Bellagio is a small town but you can easily catch a ferry to any of the other towns in Lake Como. We visited one other town called San Giovanni which is walkable from Bellagio although i wouldn’t recommend it in the heat if you’re not 100% able, get the bus instead!
We tried the local cuisine and wines and were not disappointed! Fine dining at it’s best. We also ate more than our fair share of gelato.
We were sad to leave the luxurious Bellagio but at the same time, looking forward to our next stop, Verona!
