Cooking the Italian Platter:
white sauce pasta and Cheese Garlic bread.
For the pasta:
Ingredients:
Zucchini, Capsicum, Sweet corn, Boiled pasta, Chopped garlic, green chilli, Butter, Maida, Boiled milk, cheese, Chilli flakes and salt to taste
Recipe:
In a sauce pan add a dollop of butter and sauté the garlic and green chilli. Once it’s done add 3 teaspoons of maida and mix well, then add a cup of milk to form a thick sauce( make sure there are no lumps)
Into the sauce add the vegetables( zucchini, capsicum and corn) and mix well. Then add the pasta, along with some salt and chilli flakes. To finish top with cheese and serve.
For the garlic bread
Ingredients:
Bread (A loaf is advised but you can use normal white bread too) butter, garlic, parsley, salt to taste, chilli flakes and cheese
Recipe:
Garlic butter: In a bowl add the butter along with garlic, chilli flakes, parsley and salt to taste. Mix well to form a spread like consistency.
Cooking:
On a grill/ pan place slices of bread with garlic butter on both sides until it’s toasted golden brown. Then top with cheese and serve.
