The Italian Folk Ensemble (Adelaide) has been for over 40 years, studying and performing traditional and popular songs and dances of the Italian people, fully respecting their individual musical style and their cultural context. These songs cover a wide spectrum of emotions and experiences of the people of Italy through the ages, and as such, they are a unique medium to learn Italian culture and history.
The melody of this song can be is probably based on operatic arias. That presented tonight is a fusion of two variants. Giovanna Marini recorded one of the variants in 2007 during a festa held in Monte Sant’Angelo.
Pampanella di vite (Puglia), forse un titolo più adatto sarebbe: Innamorati ubriachi.
La melodia è probabilmente basata su arie di operette. Questa presentata stasera è una fusione di due varianti. Giovanna Marini ha registrato una delle varianti nel 2007, durante una festa tenutasi a Monte Sant’Angelo.
