I fully admit that I do not consider myself a “foodie”. But after being educated by my hostel mate Luuk, my first night in Naples, who had done his research on Pizzerias before arriving, I decided to do a little Google crash course of my own and take him up on his offer to go with him and check out this, Attilio Bachetti. All I can say is… No regrets! I never knew pizza could be so good. One thing I have realized so far while in Italy, is that they know how to extract a lot of flavor from a light sauce. These pizzas we ordered were the perfect example of that. The crust just seemed to dissolve in my mouth, with every bite! Never mind the dessert of a ricotta cheese filled crust, at the end of every slice. Absolutely the best pizza I’ve ever had!
