Ingredients:
– 50g Butter
– 40g Flour
– 1/2 Liter of Milk
– Salt and pepper
– Nutmeg
For salt, pepper and, nutmeg a pinch of each.
Recipe:
On a low heat start with melting the butter.
Add gradually the flour sifted to avoid lumps and stir.
As soon as the butter and the flour are well-mixed start adding the milk little by little keeping stirring regularly.
As soon as you have finished adding the milk add a pinch of salt, pepper, nutmeg, and stir.
Keep on stirring until the bechamel become denser as you can see in the video.
