During the ‘Back to the Roots’ e-Masterclass hosted by the IACCSE on Zoom, we all witnessed the authenticity of Italian culinary tradition and the knowledge of Michelin-starred Chef Cristiano Tomei.
The cooking class was a very unique and successful event, with 60+ attendees, from food bloggers and influencers, to chefs and restaurant owners in Miami; all connected to join in from their own kitchen while interacting online with the Master chef, virtually sharing their own dishes via the webcam, as they took a stab at preparing live recipes.
The IACCSE has been the first Italian Chamber to bring online an event of “The Extraordinary Italian Taste” campaign. This marketing campaign, supported by the Italian Government, aims to promote authentic Italian food culture in the USA and in other 22 countries.
We put together a video for those of you who weren’t able to attend the online class and/or for those who would like to recreate the three vegetarian recipes shown by Chef Tomei, using genuine Italian products such as: Parmigiano Reggiano PDO cheese, Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil PGI, Pecorino Toscano PDO cheese, Tropea red onions PGI and more.
