A fish recipe for a very different pasta dish!
A typical recipe from the Italian fishermen, mainly from Veneto, and Sicily.
To use the squid ink as an ingredient is quite unusual, black is not a standard color for most of the world’s food cultures.
As for many other recipes, there are quite a lot of different variants, and almost every family has one.

Ingredients:
– 1 medium-size squid
– 1 ink sac (ask to keep the one from the squid)
– 1 cup of tomato passata
– 1/2 onion
– 50 gr of fine peas
– 1 pinch of chilly pepper
– 1 pinch of salt
– 3 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil
– 200 gr of long pasta
