Fresh marinara sauce isn’t as time-consuming or as tough as you’d think!
Marinara Sauce Recipe (Yields 6 Servings):
¼ Cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
8-10 Organic Garlic Cloves
1 28 oz Can Whole San Marzano Tomatoes
1 Cup Filtered Water
2-4 Sprigs Fresh Organic Basil
1 Tsp Sea Salt
Optional Extras: Caramelized Onion, Tomato Paste, Dried Basil, Dehydrated Onion, Garlic Powder, Thyme, Oregano, Rosemary, Parmesan Cheese, Ground Meat, Plant-Based Proteins, Mushroom, Veggies, etc.
1. Heat olive oil in a deep pan
2. Infuse with chopped garlic until garlic is golden
3. In a bowl, break down the tomatoes with your hands
4. Add tomatoes and 1 cup of water from the can
5. Add basil
6. Add sea salt
7. Simmer for 15 minutes
8. Add in extras, if desired, and simmer for another 5 minutes
