Cruise Ship Food from 1962 to Today Main Dining Room to Specialty Restaurants My Memories I crossed the Atlantic Ocean in 1962 on the Homeric Ocean Liner and I still remember the quality of the food 55 years later. Cruising is about eating and man can you eat today! In 1962 you had the main dining room for most of your meals and you had set dining times for breakfast and dinner. Today you can have 15 different venus for food from Asian to Italian and the buffet. Dining rooms still play a part in the cruise ship experience but they no longer dominate your eating choices. In this video I go over some of my memories of eating on ships from yesterday to today. If your new to cruising watch and learn from a pro who can eat his cruise fare on board a cruise ship.
