Tiramisu without eggs:
Tiramisu is one of my favorite Italian dessert made of ladyfingers dipped in espresso or coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of sugar,condensed milk & mascarpone cheese also dusting with cocoa powder
Ingredients:
2tbs sugar
2tbs condensed milk (optional)
1cup heavy whipping cream
1 cup mascarpone cheese
1 cup good espresso or strong coffee
1tbs vanilla extract
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1pk ladyfingers (about 24)
-Using an electric mixer in a medium bowl, heavy whipping cream,sugar & condensed milk whipped till soft-medium peaks. Add mascarpone cheese and continue to whip until it creates a soft, spreadable mixture with medium peaks. Gently fold all together
-One at a time, quickly dip each ladyfingers for 1-2 second in the espresso mixture until soaked but not soggy,Spread whipping mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers and dust with cocoa powder. Repeat, using half the ladyfingers till you’ve got an even layer.
-Dust top layer with remaining tablespoon of cocoa powder, Cover with plastic wrap and let chill in the refrigerator for at least 5-6 hours or overnight before slicing.
Note:
If you don’t want to use condensed milk you can use 1/3cup of sugar instead.
If you want to add eggs & liquor :
3Egg yolks & sugar whipped till triple in volume.
combine espresso and rum or brandy 2tbs
