During the week-long tour around southern Italy, island Hvar and
Dalmatia were presented as wine and cultural destinations.
The tour was organized in collaboration with the Croatian Embassy
in Rome, Tourist Boards of Dalmatia and the Island of Hvar.
Presentation about wine culture was given by
president of Hvar Wine Association Ivana Krstulović Carić,
professor Zorka Bibić, anthropologist Maria Plenković
and professor Ernesto di Renzo. We are discussing about wine from scientific point of view.
Then we have wine tasting, that is the best way to understand the essence of wine.
in presenting its wine, the island and whole Dalmatia. Hvar has some old and indigenous variety of wine that can be interesting for Italian market.
After Rome Hvar Wine Association continued tour towards region
Puglia, which is well known for its wine Primitivo di Manduria.
