Today we prepare a stuffed-egg soup meant for monks in the fat days. An example of one of the typical ways used in the Middle Ages to prepare the most common among the foods for the fat days in all the social classes.
Ingredients:
eggs
olive oil
verjuice
white wine
salt
spices (black pepper, cloves, nutmeg, saffron)
fresh herbs (mint, savory, marjoram, parsley)
