This is a super easy recipe for anyone who wants a great loaf of fresh bread in the morning with the least amount of effort.
One of the great things about this recipe is that you don’t need a mixer or to spend ages kneading the dough. Leaving it over night helps to build flavour and the longer you leave it the more flavour you end up with.
You can add many other things to your bread including rosemary, thyme, oregano, garlic confit, red onions, diced squash, olives, cheese etc.
Ingredients list
800g strong white flour
1/2 tsp dry yeast
600g cold water
50g olive or rapeseed oil. Plus extra for on top and underneath.
15g honey
18g sea salt. Plus extra for on top
Plus anything you want on top of your bread.
