INGREDIENTS
4 cups flour;
1 tsp baking soda;
1 tsp salt;
1 ¾ cup milk;
1 lemon (juice).
METHOD
Preheat oven to 220C/430F.
Whisk milk and lemon juice together, then set aside to curdle. You can use pre-made buttermilk.
Combine flour with salt and baking soda. Pour buttermilk in and knead to form the dough together.
Form the dough into a ball and place it into a parchment-lined cast iron pan. Make 2 slits on top.
Bake for 30 minutes.
