We’re are so excited to hear from owner & Winemaker Claudio Viberti of Viberti Winery in Piedmont, Italy. He was able to visit us last fall and we were able to place a small Rose order with him. The Rose has finally arrived to The Savory Grape and we are loving the flavor! We can’t wait to welcome back Claudio, hopefully next year.
Viberti La Gemella Rosato Flavor Profile:
This wine was made to prove that high quality rosé can come from Piedmont. Meaning “twin,” La Gemella was created to honor the winemaker’s mother, Maria, who is a twin herself. Expressive floral tones of wild rose, fresh berries and crushed mineral. The La Gemella Rosata is crisp and dry, extremely balanced with notes of sweet berries and zingy grapefruit.
