Umberto Cosmo’s family farm is in the heart of the UNESCO Heritage site of the Prosecco Hills of Conegliano Valdobbiadene, in Northern Italy. He makes exquisite Prosecco Superiore from organically farmed vineyards. We asked him how they were doing over there – it’s no secret that this has been a very tough time for Italy. He sent us this lovely short film, in which he talks about the value and comfort of nature, and looks forward, for many reasons, to harvest time this September. As he says, nature doesn’t stop, and in the vines behind him is the promise of harvest celebration in a few months’ time.
