A step by step guide on how to freeze meatballs properly to avoid freezer burn. The salt content in meatballs doesn’t allow meatballs to freeze quickly plus their shape is not conducive to freezing in bags/cellophane or vacuum sealed bags. This is a very easy method to seal the meatballs so they won’t freezer burn and keep them separate that allows individual use if necessary. Once they are frozen in this manner they will keep for a good long time and can be added to sauce, their shape intact, without defrosting because they are glazed using water only! It takes a bit of effort but the end result is so worth it!
