It’s time to speak about one of my favorite wine Region, Friuli Venezia Giulia. Located in the north eastern part of Italy, the great composition of soil gives to this area the unique opportunity of growing some of the best white wine from local grapes, but not only, and special an usual red wines. I picked a bottle from Petrussa winemaker, a very small producer who loves to follow the rhythm of Nature to have very low environmental impact. This wine is light and transparent, the bouquet reminds me fleshy fruits and nice grassy aroma. The pairing was with shrimps cooked with bread crumbs, parsley and thyme was really good!
