“Spaghetti w Tomato Sauce” – “Spaghetti con Salsa di Pomodoro.”

For one person:
1 small-sized onion, sliced and not chopped.
Extra-virgin olive oil
Fresh basil leaves if not dried is ok.
Tomato sauce, not tomato ketchup or paste.
Salt.
Any stock-powder of boullion made of vegetables or brodo vegetale.

Heal oil on medium fire/heat when it’s ready, put the sliced onion.
Sautee it as long as possible so it becomes wilted and transparent.
Pour in 1/3rd of the bottled tomato sauce.
Add stock-powder (organic).
Salt.
At the end, a little of fresh basil or dry but put in earlier.

Boil spaghetti as per instruction on the packet (11 minutes).

Put in a pasta plate (as in the video).

Pour the sauce over it.

Grate fresh parmesan cheese over it to your liking.

Put 2 fresh basil as garnish on top of the sauce.

Pour some more of the olive oil over it one more time but lightly.

PS. This is taboo but personally, I’d accompany it with a little of tabasco sauce over it.

Voila!! Very simple. And this is the truly authentic Italian meal in Italy as one of their daily cuisines for its simplicity yet so delicious and satisfying in their intake of food as staple.
