New York has become the epicenter of the country’s outbreak with 151,061 confirmed cases and 6,268 deaths so far. When adjusted for population, that translates to roughly 777 known cases and 32 deaths for every 100,000 residents.
While coronavirus deaths in the US surpassed 14,000, new cases are tending to decrease and future predictions are better than expected.
2. There are rumors spreading online that hot drinks have an anti-corona effect !!!
This is one of many fake news being shared, which has given false medical advice. Ron Eccles, a respiratory disease expert at Cardiff University in the UK and a former director of the Common Cold Center, said there was no evidence that hot drinks would protect people against viral infections. .
Hot drinks can ease discomfort. But more than ever, the best way to protect yourself from Covid-19 virus is to follow social spacing measures, wash your hands with soap and water after touching potentially contaminated surfaces. , and follow official medical advice, updated regularly.

3. As of 7am April 8, the total number of COVID-19 cases globally has reached 1,425,468 cases, including more than 81,939 deaths and 301,788 recovery cases. In the US nearly 2,000 people died in 24 hours, while France surpassed 10,000 deaths.
Statistics from John Hopkins University as of April 7 show that 1,939 people died from COVID-19 within 24 hours.
The record death toll has brought the total number of deaths in the US to the disease to 14,695, close to the country with the heaviest damage from the corona virus so far is Italy (17,172 deaths).

4. Many cities in Japan have asked people to refrain from going out.
