Owner Jose Moreno, originally from El Salvador, dreamed of opening an Italian Ristorante that was inspired by his grandfather’s roots in Palermo, Italy. After spending several years working as a chef at the former Carmichaels restaurant, Jose opened up Mesa De Notte in 2011.
Jose’s passion in the kitchen shines through every meal served at Mesa De Notte. You will experience authentic Italian cuisine like nowhere else in Ocala, all prepared from scratch and transformed into traditional Italian delicacies.
