Days before self-quarantine went to effect, I had a feeling it was coming so I suggested to a friend that we celebrate her birthday a couple weeks ahead of the actual date. It turned out to be perfect timing because as we were having lunch at Buca di Beppo (her choice because of the ginormous sundae dessert) on March 17, the new mandate was announced.

Of course Buca portions are huge, so we ended up with leftovers which I was able to share with my birds, an African Grey and Sun Conure, with varying success.
