The approximate time to prepare white beans with onion & tomato sauce is 30 minutes.

It’s a really nutritious and healthy dish. Try this at breakfast or even at dinner. It has little gravy and so can be served either with rice or tandoori naan or Indian bread (chapatti) or even with steamed rice. Adjust the spiciness according to your taste.

Hello and good day!! Welcome to my channel. I am Anees, and I am a single dad. I am cooking for a very long time for myself and my sons. I learned cooking because of necessity. I don’t enjoy from outside, as they are rarely testy and hygienic. Lately, I thought to start my food channel so that I can share my talent with others.

I like to share simple cooking that we try to prepare on a daily basis but with a touch of authenticity and testy! On my channel, you’ll find a collection of my favorite meals and desserts in a number of different cousins.

Please join me and subscribe to my channel. I will try to add at least three new dishes weekly. If you like them, please give me a Thumbs Up. This will help me to continue.

Ingredients:
White bean: 1 1/3 cup (approximately 250 g)
Onion: 1 large
Tomato: 2 medium
Fresh green coriander: about ½ cup
Green chili: 2-3
Tomato: 2 medium
Ginger/Garlic Paste: 1 Tbsp
Olive oil (or any oil): About 5 Tbsp
Tomato paste: 3 Tbsp
Red chili powder: 1/3 Tbsp
Coriander & Cumin powder: 1/2 Tbsp
Turmeric powder: 1/4 Tbsp
Cumin seeds: 1/3 Tbsp
Black/onion seeds (Kalunji): ¼ Tbsp

Method:
Soak the white bean in water for a few hours or overnight. Boil for about half-hour until they are done about 80%. Drain and keep them aside.

Add about 5 Tbsps olive oil, add the whole cumin/ black seeds (Kalunji), and fry for a minute or so. Add the onion, turmeric, & salt. Fry for some minutes. Add ginger/garlic paste and fry for 2 minutes.

Now add the green chilies, the powder spices, tomato, & tomato paste. Sauté for two minutes. Add one cup of water or less.

At this stage, add the white bean & fresh coriander and some water, if needed. Cook on low to medium flame for 7-9 minutes.

Serve this healthy and tasty dish with steamed rice or Indian bread (chapatti or naan).
