New episode of Quarantine Cooking! It’s chili time! [Do people say that?]
– 1 lb ground beef
– 1 lb Italian sausage, hot
– 2 cups onions
– 2 bell peppers, 1 red and 1 green (LIKE XMAS!)
– 6 garlic cloves
– 3 tbsp tomato paste
– 1 teaspoon cumin
– 2 tablespoons chili powder
– 2 teaspoons smoked paprika
– 1 teaspoon cayenne
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 bottle red wine (I’m using a Carignon grape)
– 28 oz canned whole tomatoes (San Marzanos if you can find ’em)
– kosher salt
Toppings:
– fritos
– green onions
– sour cream
