Authentic Italian Cuisine at the heart of the East End
As soon as I entered the restaurant, I received an immediate heartfelt warm welcome as I was seated to my table. I ordered the rigatoni as I am a meat lover and this came with meatballs, turkey bacon accompanied by mushrooms and cheese. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the cheese, mushroom and pasta sauce came together in my mouth like a perfect harmony. The sweetness of the tomato base was contrasted perfectly with the mild spiciness of the meatballs. It is very common to have meatballs that break apart and also those that don’t maintain or even have one to begin with; a perfectly round shape in many so called wannabe “Italian” restaurants, however at Anima Di’talia they stay true to the Italian cuisine and maintain integrity to the culinary ART of fine dining and have the most perfectly structured and beautiful tasting meatballs along with delightful Italian flavours in their pasta. It was a pleasure to dine there and I will definitely make a return
