We bought our attraction tickets one month before going to Italy and that cost us a lot more than it would have if we had bought them 3 months earlier.
Day 1 – First thing in the morning we went to The Colosseum, Palatine Hill, and the Roman Forum tour.
Next was the hunt for a barber as Alan looked like a caveman, stopped for a quick pizza at Sapori e Delizie, totally worth waiting in the queue, it was delicious!
On our way to The Altar of Fatherland, we went through a lot of little beautiful streets and did some roman site seeing.
A little stop in the San Marco Evangelista al Campidoglio before heading to our apartment.
To finalize the perfect day, some picking food and a bottle of wine at the quirky Prosciutteria Cantina Dei Papi in the lively Trastevere area.
