Scott Harvey is an advocate of Barbera from Amador County. If he had to pick one wine, while he’s “sheltering in place” it would be his J&S Reserve Barbera. It’s his favorite wine to make because it makes the best varietal from this region. It flourishes in Amador even more than it’s origin in Piemonte, Italy. It’s a sun loving variety and Piemonte gets more fog than sun.
This wine has bright acidity and will go with anything on the table. If you’re limited with your stocked pantry, this Barbera will enhance any meal. Enjoy!
