In our BEST ITALIAN NEW YORK CAKE & COOKIES video we visit a 125 + year-old Italian cake & pastry shop in New York City during the STATE OF EMERGENCY. We see how empty the #NYC streets are during the pandemic as we highlight the amazing homemade #Italian cheesecake, cookies, pastries this East Village family-owned small business sells and watch as the fourth-generation owner speaks with us about the difficult times his Pasticceria is facing despite having survived the Pandemic of 1918, the Great Depression and World Wars. We also try the #best cannoli, fruit tarts, Italian cheesecake and pizza rustica this shop sells and speak about its vintage neon sign.
Many small shops have recently shuttered in New York City, but the ones that are still open, need our help so we will keep championing them as long as it is responsible to do so. We are taking precautions while going outside and trying to maintain social distancing. We want to remain positive and help our fellow New Yorkers in this time of need and keep celebrating the contribution small often family-owned businesses make to our community.
