Meatballs in Tomato Sauce!

Meatballs in Tomato Sauce – RECIPE
Prep Time: 25 mins
Cook Time: 40 mins
Complexity: Easy
Ingredients (4 people):
500 gr minced meat (50% beef / 50% pork)
700 ml Tomato passata
50 gr breadcrumbs
1 egg
60 gr Parmesan cheese
1/2 onion
parsley
1 glass of full-fat milk
50 gr flour
olive oil
salt and pepper
Procedure:
1) Finely chop the onions and sweat them in abundant olive oil;
2) Add the tomato sauce and let it cook at low heat;
3) In the meanwhile, mix all the other ingredients in a bowl. You will use this ‘paste’ to create the meatballs;
4) Form as many meatballs as you can with the meat mix, and coat them one by one in the flour;
5) Put the meatballs in the pan with the sauce and let all cook for 30 minutes at low heat;
6) ENJOY!
ITALIAN FOOD BOSS SPECIAL TIP: Use that milk! Ignore who tells you that you don’t need it. Do you want your meatballs to be very soft? Add milk to the patty.
