I know we’re all staying in a little more these days- so to all the baking lovers out there, I thought I’d help you to try something different!
In times like these OF COURSE I don’t recommend wasting all your food supplies on trials- but if this is something you’ve always wanted to learn then I guess there ain’t no time like the present!
Quite a bit of fancy equipment is required to make macarons (due to their need for absolute precision) and that’s one reason new bakers may find them difficult. There are unfortunately no substitutes to things like candy thermometers or scales- you’ve gotta have them to be successful, unfortunately, just like making candy!
I hope these steps work for you- they’ve always worked well for me! Even if you get a lump here or a lopsided one there, they’ll still taste great, so don’t be hard on yourself 🙂
