STAMFORD — Ocean 46, a new waterfront restaurant, will open at 46 Southfield Ave. in Harbor Point after Antonio’s Restaurant Group – the team behind Antonio’s Italian Bistro and Zucchero Café – signed a 15-year lease for 6,000 square feet of space, according to Building and Land Technology (BLT).

Ocean 46 will offer fresh seafood, premium steaks, burgers, pastas and Italian-inspired specialties, alongside signature cocktails. Plans for the space also include an indoor bar and an outdoor bar and dining area overlooking the harbor.

“This is an experienced restaurant team with deep roots in Fairfield County and a strong understanding of what makes a neighborhood destination successful,” said Carl Kuehner, BLT chair. “Their long-term commitment underscores the strong leasing momentum we’ve seen across Harbor Point this year and the continued demand from high-quality operators looking to be part of the neighborhood’s growth.”

The group has built a strong following in nearby Darien through Antonio’s Italian Bistro, known for upscale Italian dining with a modern touch, and Zucchero Café, which offers breakfast and lunch, dinner on select evenings and happy hour. Both concepts are located just steps from the Darien train station.

“Harbor Point has established itself as one of Fairfield County’s premier waterfront communities, and we’re thrilled to become part of the energy and growth happening here,” said Antonio Sandolo, owner of Antonio’s Restaurant Group. “Our vision for Ocean 46 is to create a true neighborhood destination that brings people together through exceptional food, warm hospitality and an experience that keeps guests coming back.”

The lease is the latest in a series of additions to Harbor Point’s restaurant scene. Earlier this summer, the team behind The Quartiere signed a long-term lease at 15 Harbor Point and debuted KIN Social, a seasonal concept featuring globally inspired shareable dishes and craft cocktails.

Harbor Point is BLT’s 100-acre, master-planned mixed-use community in Stamford. Home to more than 4,000 residences, commercial office space, 34-plus shops and restaurants, marinas, water taxis, more than 25 acres of parks and open space, and a mile-long public boardwalk, the neighborhood offers a mix of residential, commercial and recreational amenities.
