Our Italian Goulash Recipe:

**Feeds 5-8 people**
– 1 lb ground beef (I used 1/2 an lb in the video, but this was to cut down on portion sizes.)
– 1 Jar of Ragu Sauce (Traditional used in video)
– 1/2 onion
– 1 whole bell pepper
– 1 box penne noodles
– 4 ounces of cream cheese
– 1 cup cheddar cheese
– 1 tsp Garlic Powder
– 1 tsp Garlic Salt
– 1 tsp pepper
– 1 tsp Oregano
(All spices can be modified to your taste, I just start with 1 tsp and go from there 🥰)

In a deep pot, boil 8-10 cups of water with 1 tbsp of salt. Add in your penne noodles. (The salt will help the noodles not stick— you can also use a little oil for this, but too much oil will make the noddles oily and the sauce slides off the noodles easily. Salt will give it extra flavor while also preventing sticking.👍🏼)
Cook until noodles soften and drain them in the sink. Leave noodles in the sink while you start on the meat.
In the same pot that you boiled in, throw in your ground beef and cook until brown. Drain excess beef juice.
After you drain your juice, add your bell pepper, onion and spices to the meat. Stir together and cook an additional 1-3 minutes. Only until the peppers and onions start to soften.
Next, add in your ragu sauce and let cook together for about 3 minutes until it’s thoroughly mixed in. Add in your cream cheese and stir completely in.
Add your noodles back to the pot with your 1 cup of cheese and stir.
(At this time you can taste test and see which spices you would like to add more of. Oregano is strong so i suggest starting with 1 tsp in the meat and going from there if you want more.)
Enjoy!
