I’m not going to tell you how to make a classic Aperol Spritz. It is way too simple. But with the warm season knocking at the door, I know many of you will have Aperol Spritz and maybe will be looking to enhance or boost that recipe a little bit. So why not make a FROZEN version of the classic Italian aperitif? Here’s how I do it!

When you are making a frozen cocktail you need a little bit more sugar to help the extra dilution. For that reason, I’m adding lemon sorbet and homemade grapefruit cordial to the classic Aperol Spritz ratio. It will result in a slightly more acidic cocktail and also in a very refreshing one.
What you will need
2.5 oz Aperol
1 oz Homemade grafruit coridial
1 large scoop Lemon sorbet
3 oz Prosecco
2 scoops of crushed ice
Grapefruit cordial recipe
Zests of 2 large pink grapefruits
125 gr Sugar
10 gr Tartric acid
300 ml water
Cold infuse for 24 hours, strain and bottle.
That’s it for the Frozen Aperol Spritz recipe, to my opinion, the perfect summer drink. Cheers
