San Gimignano is a medieval mountaintop village just a short bus ride away from Florence, Italy. It’s known as the Town of Fine Towers because it once had erected 72 tower houses up to 230 feet tall, although only 14 of them stand today. Of those, you can only visit one which we do in this video.

The Duomo is the cathedral of the town which is also the center of the town. In the Duomo square is where all of the life is and it’s littered with great restaurants and things to do.

The Tuscan countryside landscape is stunning and San Gimignano lends 360 degree views of the landscape, surrounding rolling hills, and neighboring hilltop villages.

Vernaccia is the famous white wine that they only make in this city so you know we had to do a wine tasting where we tried vernaccias of all different ages. The wine has a delicious and bold flavor and must be tried if in San Gimignano.
