I love Airbnb. I’ve been using it for seven years and while others have had their share of horror stories, I have yet for something to go wrong. (Knock on wood.) While we were in Agerola, our Airbnb host recommended we go to his sister’s private cooking class. I couldn’t turn down a cheesemaking class (with homemade wine, too!) so I signed up.
That night was hands down one of the best experiences of my life. I was in Southern Italy, in someone’s basement that had been transformed into a communal dining space. There was an open kitchen, a wine cellar housing Catalanesca and Aglianico varietals, plenty of meat and produce, made right there in their home. We didn’t plan to stay for dinner but we did and had wonderful company from all over the world (UK, Australia, Switzerland, Italy)
Note: When given a shot glass of limoncello, DO NOT take it like a shot. You will get weird looks from everybody, and then you will look like typical Americans. 😉 Thank you, thank you Rosanna and family for this wonderful evening!
