½ tea spoon of salt
½ tea spoon of black pepper

Fresh thyme
10 fresh pealed cloves of garlic
Red wine or cognac to deglaze (optional)
Recipe:
Prepare the steak: sprinkle salt and pepper on the both sides of the steak. Add 1 table spoon of oil to the both sides of the steak and massage into the steak.
Preheat oven to 350F. Place the empty cast-iron pan in the preheated oven for 10-15 min. Turn your stove on high and place your preheated pan on the top of the stove.
Place your steak into the pan, add butter, cloves of garlic, and thyme on top of the steak and sear each side for 3 minutes. Add 3 table spoons of your favorite red wine or cognac to the steak to deglaze (Be careful of fire!). Shot the stove off immediately after. Place the pan into the oven.
