Restaurants, theaters, and bars have been ordered to close in America’s two largest cities. The mayors of New York City and Los Angeles announced the decisions on Sunday. They said it was in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Officials said the sales of food by any establishment would have to be done via delivery or take-out. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti said the restrictions will stay in place until the end of March while New York officials did not say when they would be lifted.
