A Coronavirus-infected cruise ship has docked in California, prompting a painful three-day process to extract and quarantine passengers.

The Grand Princess, carrying more than 3,500 people from 54 countries, docked Monday in the Port of Oakland.

With at least 21 infected people on board, California officials have assured the public that the passengers will need to undergo a two-week quarantine.

Passengers were told by the captain that only a select number will be allowed to get off the ship on Monday.
