Originally from Piedmont, Italy, the Bargetto family founded their namesake winery in 1933, making it the most historic winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Their first wines sold for 59 cents a bottle, and bore labels proclaiming ‘Select Mountain Vineyard’, proving that even 87 years ago, the Bargettos understood the importance of their terroir.
