New James Bond Film Pushed To November As Global Box Office Reels From Coronavirus Chaos
Upcoming James Bond installment No Time To Die will be postponed until November, the film’s producers said Wednesday, making it the first global blockbuster to be delayed because of the coronavirus.
Box office sales are already way down in China, Italy and South Korea, and according to The Hollywood Reporter, some analysts estimate the virus has already resulted in a $5 billion loss from decreased revenue and interrupted production.

The coronavirus outbreak has wrought havoc on Disney’s bottom line, particularly in China. Its live-action Mulan remake may be pulled from the Middle Kingdom as the country’s 70,000 movie theaters largely remain closed. While a delay of its Chinese premiere date was expected, The Independent is now reporting that a complete removal from the release schedule is possible.

Matt Reeves revealed the first pictures of the Caped Crusader’s new ride. The Batmobile’s appearance in Reeves’ film is the first time since Batman and its TV series of the same name, which featured a Lincoln-Futura, that the vehicle actually retains the shape and body of a car, one you could picture driving down the highway without overturning everything in its path.
