This hearty slow cooked meat sauce is AMAZING! Although the cook time is about 2.5 to 3 hours, the prep is relatively light.

Ingredients:
2 lbs ground chuck
1 large yellow onion
12 baby carrots, or 3 whole carrots
3-4 stalks of celery
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 can of San Marzano tomatoes
1 cup white wine
1/2 cup milk (I used whole milk)
2 tbsp fish sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Pasta Dough:
2 C 00 flour
1 whole egg
2 egg yolks

Pasta: I made pappardelle, but you can use any pasta you prefer, except angel hair, I think it’s not sturdy enough to withstand the sauce.
