Asked about the surge in COVID-19 infections in Italy, Singapore Minister for National Development Lawrence Wong told journalists at a news conference on Tuesday (Feb 25) that the country is “very mindful of the risk in Italy”.
It comes as Singapore bars visitors who have recently been to Daegu and Cheongdo, the epicentres of the COVID-19 outbreak in South Korea:
