The Central Epidemic Command Center has raised its travel advisory for Italy to the highest possible Level 3, which urges against non-essential travel to the country. Starting Friday, all travelers entering Taiwan from Italy will be subject to 14 days of home quarantine. The COVID-19 outbreak has spread fast in Italy, which now has 470 confirmed cases and 12 deaths. European countries including Switzerland, Austria and Croatia have all reported coronavirus infections linked to confirmed cases from Italy.
