The first COVID-19 case in Latin America has been confirmed in Brazil, a 60-year-old man who recently visited Italy.
As of Wednesday, Italy has 3-hundred-74 cases, the third highest behind China and South Korea, and 12 deaths in total.
The virus is spreading across Europe with cases in Austria, Croatia and Greece involving people with recent travel history to Italy.
In the Middle East, Iran is hit the hardest, with 1-hundred-39 cases and 19 deaths.
Meanwhile in China, the total number of cases has reached 78-thousand-64 while the death toll surpassed 2-thousand-7-hundred-15.
