Women owned and operated; Illanta Wines is an urban wine brand working towards opening the first urban winery on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. Dedicated to giving back to our community through partnerships with organizations focused in environmental and educational stewardship and sustainability. All our wines are crafted from organic grapes sourced from vineyards utilizing bio-dynamic farming practices. The name Illanta (pronounced ‘Yahn- Ta’) stems from the Italian heritage of founder Allison Yonto’s last name, changed when her great grandfather immigrated over to the United States from Italy.
