CONGRATULATIONS to our 2020 Industry Awards Celebration OUTSTANDING INDUSTRY EDUCATOR: Chef Vincenzo “Enzo” Sclama CMC-G of Hocking College!
Chef Sclama has been responsible for shaping many of the men and women destined to become the hospitality legends of tomorrow. Born in Germany, he trained and performed in traditional French, Italian, German and European Novelle cuisine at Michelin Guide rated restaurants, completed the European Certified Master Chef program, and served as the executive chef at premier private country clubs.
Each spring, Chef Sclama escorts top culinary students to foodie cities in Italy such as Turin and culinary regions of Germany such as Bavaria where they tour some of Germany’s best restaurants, bakeries, butcher shops and breweries. This hands-on training makes all the difference, and we’re grateful these students will bring these experiences to Ohio Restaurants upon graduation.
