Toronto is home and I’m continuing my series showcasing good food, good vibes, and good people ✨ Next Up? It’s off to dinner with my friend @sameshanedifferentday at @notte.ristorante 🍷🥩🍝

This address and Italian hot spot have been a favourite of mine since it’s previous name, and @chefmichaelangeloni and his team have created a dimly lit, sexy atmosphere like no other in the area that I truly love.

Chef Michael says it best – “Notte is the place I always wanted to open. Somewhere you can drop in after work, order good wine without wincing at the price, eat really well, and not feel like you need a special occasion to justify it. We do things properly here — fresh pasta, good ingredients, wine priced fairly — but we don’t take ourselves too seriously. That’s the whole point.”

Some of the menu items Shane and I loved most include 👇🏻

36 Month Parmigiano, Aged Balsamic & Pear

Chicken Liver Mousse & Treviso Jam

Grilled Calamari
romesco sauce, crispy potatoes, pepperoncini aioli, salmoriglio, hazelnuts

Truffle & Parmigiano Salad
baby gem, fresh apple, chives, truffle vinaigrette

Rigatoni Alla Bolognese
AAA brisket, prosciutto di parma, parsley, white wine, parmigiano Reggiano

Fried Potatoes & Pepperoncino Aioli

Crispy Brussel Sprouts & ‘Nduja Caramel

So whether you’re stopping by to enjoy their new Aperativo Hour with specially priced cocktails and items from the Salumi bar after work, to enjoy a romantic date night, or a much needed kiki with a friend, this is one of my favourite restaurants in the city. And of course don’t forget to check out the all new @pastaprivato – the new concept which has launched as a sister experience to the restaurant and I hope to check out for myself soon!

You’re going to love it! Cheers 🥂
