一个老外讲个毛的中国历史
为什么故宫没有树,因为故宫本身是个方格,如果方格里面有木,那就是“困”字
This is amazing. Will we see the rest of the lectures?
Man, this is the best Professor in the world. I wanna see the 2nd lecture soon please!
😂😂😂😂😂 He cannot even pronounce luxun 鲁迅 correctly。 This tells you how credible he is.
Education is not free. This is the problem with our country. Look how many people want to be taught, yet no one will teach because you have to pay exorbitant fees to get access. Really sad. Unless u drop all the videoss plssss
shaanxi province is wrong spelling, should be shanxi. I like this course very much even I am a chinese.
Medieval period? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There was never such a uncivilized uncultured period in China since recorded history 5000 years ago.
in wake of the trendy china maxxing
The professor looks like young Harrison Ford
Yeah, one thing is very TRUE. Many (in statistical sense) people, from northeasten provinces are indeed funny, LOL. Two of my best buddies in college are from those provinces. My impression is, that place got really harsh living condition and people have to deal with the harsh natural condition. On the other hand, that place has beautiful natural scenes. The combination of harshness and beauty of nature in northeasten area is kind of unique.
Trying to show off his Chinese to impress the audience, but the tone and pronunciation gave it away. His Chinese is really bad.
Well, I had the privilege of visiting 中南海 once in 1985
Can we come in place of the students' friends and relatives?
I am Chinese from mainland and majored in history in college, but I really love this professors class. You just don’t see many teachers that are as passionate as he is. You can feel he truly loves Chinese history, not just on his own study and research, but also passionated about sharing what he has learned!
Wait universities still do lectures?
Looking forward to Lecture 2!
actually the original Hall of supreme harmony was burned to the ground and rebuilt it in Qin dynasty, and it's smaller than the original hall, cuz they couldn't find enough materials to construct the original size.
Near the end of the lecture he says "god we went over three of the big novels today" but instead he had done 4/4 of them in that first day of class!
This resolves my queries (since vey long time ago) to why those four books been selected as 四大名著
